Highest-earning Christmas temp jobs in Nottinghamshire revealed

If you are looking for a new job or want to pick up a few extra hours of the festive season a temporary role might be for you.

New data shows there’s currently more than 20,000 Christmas temp jobs available in the UK, many of the vacancies available are stores looking to boost their staff over the next few months

Topping the list of companies looking for Christmas staff across the nation are Tesco, Sports Direct, Royal Mail and Sainsburys, with a variety of retail roles on offer.

Here is a list of temp jobs available in Nottinghamshire this festive period:

Sales Assistant, Sports Direct, Nottingham (£4.58-£8.25 per hour)

Sales Assistant, House of Fraser, Nottingham  (up to £8.25 per hour)

Food and Beverage Assistant, Massarella Coffee Shop, Sutton in Ashfield, Idelwells Centre (£5-£8.21 per hour)

Christmas Casuals, Royal Mail, Beeston  (£9.50-£10.50 per hour)

Christmas Casuals, Royal Mail, Nottingham  (£9.50-£10.50 per hour)

 

The list has been compiled by job search engine Adzuna which has also found the following temp jobs but has not listed the wages.

Sales Assistant, H.Samuel, Nottingham

General Assistant, Funstation, Nottingham

Co-Founder at the job search engine Adzuna, Andrew Hunter, said: “The festive season is a great time to spend with family and friends, but all the socialising and gift-giving is a sure way to increase your outgoings.

“Each year, we see a huge influx of Christmas jobs around this time of year, so we wanted to make things as easy as possible for those who are seeking work over the Christmas period, which is why we’ve pulled together a list of all the temp jobs in Nottingham, to help local job seekers earn a few extra pounds during the Christmas period.”
